Zero hygiene. Everything is extremely dirty, the sheets, pillows, everything. Bathroom wall has grime on it. We swiped the side table with tissue and it came out black with dirt. Terrible experience. They told us the water was free and charged us for it claiming that only ‘the purple bottles’ were free.

First of all, EVERY time someone closes a door in this hotel it sounds like they are SLAMMING your door shut. It is so not soundproofed. Second of all, the staff are really not very friendly and have very, very poor English. Third of all, they tried to charge us FIFTEEN US DOLLARS for ONE LOAD of laundry. You've got to be kidding me - it should've been $1-2 for a load. Actually ridiculous. We bartered them down to US$10, but that's still insane. Save yourself the hassle, stay elsewhere.

I was shocked at the treatment I got at the hotel. I made a booking through Agoda the night before and it was confirmed and was to pay at the hotel. Once we arrived they claimed not to have our booking and when I showed him the confirmation he tried to say he was having a problem with Agoda paying them...I told him I didn't understand what that has to do with me as I was able to book and confirm...anyway after him calling his manager and getting back to me it became pretty clear that they did not want to honor the price. At that point we decided to leave and find a different location. They preferred to send us away and not accept our booking rather than just honor the booking and take our money. On a side note the hotel we arrived at next (Tryst) was amazing and they even allowed us to use their wifi so we could book through Agoda and get a cheaper price.

As this hotel opened in september 2016 is quiet new, beautifull rooms and modern decoration, the softest bed we had so far in asia! And one of the best hotels that we have stayed in so far. It's 1km away from city centre, easy to walk. Small tip, it's a bit noisy on the first floor, we heard te reception phone and the staff pretty good, maybe ask for the 2+ floor for more silence. If you have earplugs (witch we have) its no problem. We definately come back if we have to go to hanoi.👍
